Hey Everyone, I use Quicken Checkbook and I downloaded it to my Surface, only to get a message that it is not supported? It said something about getting 'an app,' but as I have searched through them, I am not successful in finding anything to work with Quicken. Next question: How do I go into the app store and just type in the name of an app? ![]() Last question: Working on any other Microsoft OS, you have the ability to 'x' out of a page, or minimize it. Am I lost, or is it true that you cannot do this on the Surface? I find myself using the Start Menu button (to the left of ALT, left of spacebar) an awful lot. I will be on an internet page and I will want to 'x' out of one of the pop-ups, but then I find myself stuck on the pop-up, or re-doing everything within that browsing period. I am familiar with the buttons for moving forward and back a page, just not the act of 'x'-ing out of the page. Surface with Windows RT can only run apps that you install from the Windows Store. To find an app in the Store - open the Store app, swipe in from the right edge of the screen and tap Search, type the app that you're looking for, and click the magnifying glass. Not sure what you mean by X'ing out of a page.
